SE RANKING Vs SEMRUSH

On this page, I will be comparing the two SEO tool suites, SE RANKING and SEMRUSH.

To make it a fair comparison, I will primarily be looking at the entry-level (least expensive) plans, however, I will also discuss the additional features that may be unlocked with higher-level plans.

A look at the differences

Entry-level accounts with SEMRUSH and SE RANKING offer a similar set of primary features. SEMRUSH can track a lot more keywords and audit a lot more pages than SE RANKING, however, SE RANKING has higher daily limits for keyword and competitor research.

SEMRUSH provides more data analysis options within the tool, however, a lot of these won’t be used by the average user and can make the interface appear daunting and unwieldy. In contrast, SE RANKING has a very simple interface that is easy to navigate and quick to get started with, albeit without as many options.

SEMRUSH is nearly 7x more expensive than SE RANKING.

Verdict

For the SEO professional, SEMRUSH is one of the tools of choice that will keep them competitive, due to its deeper analysis options, however, this comes at a price. This additional functionality is something that is very niche, has a steep learning curve and (to be honest) most users do not need all these features. SE RANKING’s toolset does 90% of what people use SEO tools for in their day-to-day work and comes at a fraction of the cost.
